It is the individual licensee's responsibility to
be sure that he or she meets the requirements for his or her own particular
license renewal circumstance(s).
- Total Hours: 36
- Mandatory/Core: 3
- Elective: 33
- Renewal Cycle: 4 years
All licensees will be required to successfully complete 36 hours of approved continuing education every four years. The education must include:
- 3 hours of Georgia License Law (Core)
- At least 33 hours of Georgia approved electives

Receiving Credit for Completed Courses
In Georgia, continuing education schools provide notice of course completion to the Commission. We submit notice of course completions
to the GREC three times a week. In turn, GREC posts credit to your education transcript.
Each time you complete a course on the CBT website, you will receive a courtesy email from us that verifies your completion. You will
receive a second email each time we submit notice of a course completion to the state.
Regulation of Online CE Courses
There are no limitations to the number of credits you can take online for the state of Georgia. Final exams are not required and therefore
will not be required in our courses. Timers are not required therefore there are no timers in our courses.
Taking the same course twice
Although the renewal cycle is 4 years, you can take the same course multiple times in the 4 year cycle as long as there is at least 12 months
that seperate each instance.
